Investor tests for fun
Short tests on your investing style and two games with right answers. Each result leads on to the metrics and stock themes that fit it.
- What kind of investor are you?Twelve questions about your investing style. Which of 14 investor types are you closest to?
- How much swing can you live with?Eight questions that measure your risk tolerance, shown as one number from 0 to 100.
- Which way do you lean in a falling market?Twelve questions on loss aversion. Four axes, each scored separately: the weight of a loss, mental accounting, avoiding regret, and rules versus impulse.
- Which numbers do you look at first?Twelve either-or choices that measure your metric priorities. The weights you give to earnings, financial health, dividends and valuation, set beside the weights the Jupick grade actually uses.
- In which market do you waver most?Four questions each for a surging, a falling and a sideways market, twelve in all. Instead of folding everything into one style, it measures your reaction in each phase separately and shows how far apart the three values are.
- What grade is this company?Look only at a fictional company’s financial metrics and guess its overall Jupick grade. When you check, the actual grade opens with what lifted it and what held it back. This is a game with a right answer, not a personality test.
- Where does this sector’s number sit? Each question pairs one sector with one metric. Choose one of four values and the gap between your choice and the actual median opens. Every option is a median another sector actually has, so even a wrong choice teaches you one sector’s number.
Test results are reference content that describes an investing style. They are not a suggestion to trade any stock and not investment advice. What each metric in the results measures is on one page in Investment metrics at a glance, and how far to rely on a grade and where to stop is in using grades well. To learn from the beginning in order, there is the learning path.
